Classic Slate vs. Featherstone

What is the difference between Classic Slate and Featherstone Slate?  Are both are great materials for indoor waterfalls?

* Classic Slate is a true, thick, heavy slab of stone.  It is perfect for the water panel surface and extremely water resilient. The natural slab is about 1 inch thick and weighs anywhere from 100 - 300 pounds.  All Classic Slate designs include the mounting hardware necessary to secure the unit to the studs in your wall. 

* Featherstone Slate is a lightweight version that is designed for easier and less expensive shipping.  Also due to its light weight nature is provides for a simpler install. Featherstone is still a 100% slate surface.  It glistens and appears to be almost identical to the Classic Slate version, however it has thin layer of natural slate along the surface with a lightweight manufactured backing.  This intuitive design incorporates the beauty of natural slate but the ease of lightweight shipment and installation.
