Creative Fountains

One of my favorite niches in the fountain world are those custom fountains that push beyond traditional ideas we have when we think of statement pieces in this arena. We've seen the three-tiered fountains our kids love to pluck a penny into, while making a secret wish. 

We're used to the fun spout fountains that come up from the pool of water in one stream or a staccato flow. We've got one of these in our town that, on Friday nights, is part of a fountain show, light display, and musical concert combined. This kids love it - they can even jump in and get wet! (image on the right is this fun fountain)

But have you seen a watercolor painting that has been crafted into a wall fountain? Have you seen a mirror with a tranquil and inviting stream of water coming down the front? What about a bridge that is also a fountain? Or fountains that look suspended in mid-air? I could go on and on. There are some seriously talented artists and engineers out there that dream up this stuff and - usually with a team of experts - make these visions come to life!

We are proud to say that the first two images are from our company's gallery. The latter two are famous fountains in South Korea and Japan, respectively. Most of us will never have fountains like the last two, other than when we travel. But, surprisingly, artistic fountains are much more accessible than many think. 

This image on the left is called the Sunrise Art Fountain. It is hand painted and made to order by the artist. Available in an endless number of custom sizes, the surface on top of the painting is acrylic and the frame is made from all natural copper. This is a peaceful and vibrant piece without the fountain addition! With the fountain addition, it truly does take you to a calm and beautiful place. The second image is an  Adagio water feature called the Mirror Aspen Falls water fountain. It comes in one, two, or three panels and the fountains range in style, material (copper, slate, bronze, etc.) and color. These pieces add a sophistication to any home or office. Nothing like the sound of flowing water to help you get centered in your space. This fountain falls under so many different categories, we suggest you just start on our home page and go wild.
