How to Select the Right Outdoor Fountain
I recently discussed a way to determine the correct size fountain for the location you have chosen to install it in – including considerations like location of electrical outlets, etc. If you missed that one, you may want to go back and review it. For today’s topic, I'll cover the various outdoor fountain styles available plus the materials used and available colors that will allow you to choose the absolute best water feature for your space.
The classic, round basin fountain is what you usually picture when you think about a fountain. We offer 14 different models of this type and for most of them we offer up to 22 different color choices – so you’re sure to find one that you like. Here are three of my favorites:
This classic style of fountain gives a very traditional feel to a formal garden or to any space where you want the look of timeless elegance.
In addition to these classic styles, we offer a wide variety of fountain styles ranging from antique to modern to futuristic. We have such a wide variety; it would be impossible to show them all in one blog post. The best way to see them all is look under “Outdoor Fountains” and take a look at all four pages.
These are three that I really like:
These non-traditional fountains come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and heights; but all are tiered so there is water flowing down from one surface to another. This creates both a soothing sound and visual interest. Choose the style and size that fits the space and reflects your style.
Material & Color Choices
All of our outdoor fountains are made of either glass fiber reinforced concrete or cast stone. Both of these materials are ideal for years of service in your garden or yard.
Like our classic fountains, these fountains are also available in a wide variety of sizes and up to 22 different color choices.
The natural stone colors are very popular choices for outdoor garden fountains and will take on unique characteristics matching their environment over time. You can also choose to try to match the colors of your house and garden or use a contrasting color to make your fountain really stand out. It’s up to you.
Carefully examine all of our options and choose the one that will work the best in your unique space. If you have any questions or just need help deciding, please call our customer service department and we will do whatever it takes to help you.
